I haven't felt this way since Moss or Final Approach: Pilot Edition ROI value is high in my humble opinion - although time will tell.ĭiorama feeling is. I'm not a "vanity items" guy, but I know some people love that stuff. Lots of unlockables and progression encouragement to keep you striving to be better.
Mini motor racing Offline#
You won't have to play with screaming kids or force mute everyone to be able to play and you can play offline (I assume - didn't test). However, from a SOLO perspective, you have bots (even in the Rocket League knock off). I have little interest in MP gaming on Quest so I didn't test that. I wouldn't have liked this title as much had it been straight racing. Traditional AND "Type-X" (weapons and powerups) options. Even the little tires your car plows into during the race look GREAT! Things like highlighting areas of the track you're in that are hidden from your current view? You EXPECT that to be there in 2020, but not every game would do it. UI/UX is perfect a combination of touch and point menus and controls. This is what makes this game kick BlazeRush's ass (I realize BR wasn't designed for VR, but you can play it in VR).

Tons of viewpoints if you count all the "ringside" locations as well as what? 3 or 4 in and around the car? There are over 10 vantage points to race from. Logical, easy to use and remarkably tight (even the "grabbing the steering wheel" - which RARELY works). Multiple control methodologies cater to how ANYONE might want to play. Big selling point to ME if Facebook isn't required to play with friends. I'll get back to you if I find out this is the case. I don't know if Facebook is REQUIRED to play with friends you ALREADY HAVE. Essentially you have BlazeRush + Rocket League and with it brings about incredible production values, attention to detail and a true sense of VR and what makes it great - with the options necessary to cater to ANYONE'S needs. Note: This is UBER MICRO because I only played about an hour.įor $25, this represents a great value (sorry, better than Tetris Effect.
